Rasam

Ingredients:
Tomatoes- 2 nos
Red chilly-3 nos
Coriander seeds- 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper seeds - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic- 3 pieces
Ginger small piece
Tamaraind water- 1 cup
Salt to taste
Jaggery- 1/2 tsp
Oil, Mustard seeds, Curry leaves, and Red chilly for seasoning

Method:
Grind red chillies, coriander seeds, pepper seeds, turmeric powder, garlic and ginger into paste by adding water. Mix it with the tamarind water and add jaggery. Add salt to taste and add cut tomatoes. Allow it to boil and season it. Garnish it with coriander leaves.

Tip:
If you like the taste of pineapple you can add cut pineapple instead of tomatoes. Really tastes very nice.
