Beetroot Thuvaran



Ingredients:
Beetroot- 2
Onion-1
Grated Coconut-4tbsp
Chilly powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Jeera-1/2tsp
Salt-as per taste
Mustard seeds, Urad dhal and Curry leaves for seasoning

Method:
Chop Beets and Onion as shown in the picture. Grind Cococut, Chilly powder, Turmeric powder and Jeera. Take a pan pour oil and season it with mustard, urad and curry leaves. Put onion and fry for a while and add chopped beets. Add salt as per the taste and cover the pan with a lid. Let them cook nicely. Once the beets are cooked add the grinded mixture and mix it nicley. Again cover it with the lid. Take out the lid and check whether the raw smell of the coconut have gone. Now the thuvaran is ready to serve.
